For the baroque bass viola da gamba the following set is proposed:
- the cantino is a Ritorta di Salle,
- the La a Cantino di Napoli,
- the Mi a Cordoncino di Roma,
- the Do a Cordone di Roma,
- the Sol, Re and La bass are not included in the set because currently the production of silver wounded strings is suspended.
The set has a 10% discounted cost compared to a similar custom frame and refers to the calculation of string gauges at a vibrating length of cm.74.
However, it is possible to choose different types of strings and gauges at full price in the menu "Prices", for example by placing a Cantino di Napoli as first string (in which case we recommend lowering the string one tone when the instrument is not used)

These are strings that are still being tested, but which actually seem to produce an interesting sound, so those interested in being a tester can contact us.
For those interested in viola da gamba lessons I strongly recommend my current teacher and dear friend, Fabrizio Lepri (tel.:+39 335496839), in particular for his excellent right hand technique, which I rarely found in other musicians at same quality level.
