The selection starts using a dynamometer to check the tensile strength of single guts.
In fact it is essential to divide the guts according to strength and size: only in this way can the most fine and resistant to the first strings or cantini be assigned, the less subtle and weaker ones with larger strings that are less stressed and can distribute the traction on a larger number of guts.
